HOW TO DO IT
For the chocolate cake layers, use your favorite recipe or cake mix.
While your cake is baking, mix up the Mint Buttercream Frosting to use between each layer and to frost the cake.
Mint Buttercream Frosting
4 cups powdered sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
2 -3 TBSP cream
1/2 TSP mint extract
1 TSP vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
Green food coloring
Take a pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (The Cookie Dough Cafe Chocolate Chip cookie dough) and flatten into round discs.
Place each cookie dough disc between each cake layer.
Spread chocolate ganache between each cake layer and also use it for the drip.
Garnish with extra mini chocolate chips and “scoops” of The Cookie Dough Cafe’s Chocolate Chip cookie dough.
